About Zara
Zara Cooney has spent more than a decade inside the rooms where influence is shaped. She began her career in the Colorado House and Senate, supporting senior communications and policy teams and learning how strategy guides public perception.
At the same time she built a successful freelance practice supporting wellness practitioners and healers. The contrast revealed a powerful truth. Clear communication moves people. Strong systems scale businesses.
She later served as head of communications for Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold’s Business Intelligence Center. Working directly with statewide data on small business performance gave her a rare understanding of the strategic levers that drive real growth.
Her career now spans more than 80 brands and leaders. Founders. Creators. Politicians. Healers. CEOs. Teams across beauty, wellness, tech, real estate, law, hospitality, and lifestyle. She has shaped digital identities, strengthened brand foundations, and helped women scale with clarity and confidence.
